Summertime and cats

Looks like the warm weather is back! Sometimes I wish I were one of my cats. think about it, cats do whatever they please and nobody cares because we all say you cant train a cat so whats can you do? Lots of people dont like cats but there are lots of people who do like cats. My female cats gets up on the bed with me and expects me to pat her. These two cats go outside but dont live out there so they have it great. they get to spend a lazy summer day in the sun, chase a few bugs or birds, chew on the grass and go in when they want. Life is good to be one of my cats.

Beautiful Day

Despite the fog this morning, the day turned out beautiful.
Still have one more day to work. I have put in for the supervisor job at work. It means 1 1/2 years of school again but thats Monday thru Friday for quite awhile. I hope I get it.
Next weekend is Jim Morris at Captains Cove. I havent heard him play in two years as last year it was the same weekend that Patrick got married. That reminds me, I have to get a card on Monday.

Woke up to rainy miserable weather

woke up to rainy miserable weather. Would be great if I was working nights. This kind of weather I sleep thru during the day. I go back to work tomorrow morning for 4 days shifts.
Have got a good start on some items for the Barnstable County Fair.

Welcome

Welcome all who visit. This is the ranting Parrothead here. I do have a tendecy to rant sometimes but I'm not a fruit cake. That is my youngest son's attempt at humor at his mother's expense because he knows I don't know enough about website design to remove the over 40 reference. But it isn't too bad so it can stay.
